B/OSS World reports that TMNG Global is going farther into the Cloud
B/OSS World reports that TMNG Global is expanding its presence in cloud computing professional services with the appointment of Andy Bart and Vern Sheppard as vice presidents. They will report to Bill Opet, SVP, Cable, Broadband and Cloud Business Unit. The company’s cloud practice assists clients with the complexities of cloud enablement, whether they are considering a move to the cloud or becoming cloud service providers.
Bart and Sheppard have a wealth of cloud computing experience, specifically in their recent roles as principals of Executive Operations Management (EOM), a boutique consulting firm in the D.C. metropolitan area, where they successfully supported enterprise clients and system integrators in their cloud computing initiatives, the company said.
“While the cloud computing movement is well underway and companies across all sectors are rolling out cloud services at dizzying pace, there is very little guidance available to address the business and operational imperatives facing companies which are contemplating a move to the cloud," said Rich Nespola, Chairman and CEO, TMNG Global. “We created our cloud practice to help our clients navigate the complexities of cloud enablement and to address the operational planning, technology migration and ongoing operational management required to successfully deliver cloud services. We look forward to both Andy and Vern’s combined cloud computing expertise in driving the expansion of our cloud services portfolio."
Specifically, TMNG’s Cloud practice will help enterprises and communications service providers understand how cloud services might fit into their IT strategy. Client decisions to move to the cloud can include various strategies to utilize both public and private clouds with significant cost and resource advantages. TMNG Global will help clients determine what to move to a cloud environment, how to manage those services, and how to integrate them into their existing enterprise operations by using TMNG Global’s proprietary cloud-focused toolsets.
TMNG Global is a provider of management consulting and software solutions to the global communications, technology and digital media industries.
