In terms of efficiency and cost savings, cloud concepts are very compelling, but what are the hidden costs or risks? How will the cloud revolutionize mobile enterprise solutions? What is the anticipated impact for the wireless consumer and their personal computing? Will cloud solutions permit consumers to purchase content once, but have it accessible across all devices? How will the cloud drive mobile proliferation? Which security and privacy concerns remain challenges? This panel will debate these questions and other challenging issues related to cloud computing.

CSMG Presentations on mCoupons and 4G Wireless Broadband
March 22 at 1:00pm
Room MR-236

mCoupons
1:00pm, CSMG Vice President Patrick Hayes will discuss mCoupons and the power of mobile marketing
Mobile coupons, as a form of mobile marketing, are growing in both broad-based awareness and redemption. The U.S. consumer is maintaining a value-conscious attitude and as marketers continue to seek high-impact, cost-effective means of reaching new customers, mobile coupons are coming into their own. Mobile coupons support a compelling value proposition offering higher redemption rates and lower cost-per-touch than other forms of mobile marketing and traditional paper-based coupons. Mobile coupons and promotions represent a perfect marriage of technological capability and innovation, providing actionable (and measurable) mobile interactions, and reinforce the notion that mobile is a marketing channel too powerful to ignore.

4G Wireless Broadband
1:30pm, CSMG Vice President Ed Naef will present “Supporting the Enterprise with 4G Wireless Broadband”
Consumers have been the major driver to the smartphone revolution, and in many organizations the smartphone represents more processing power than their desktops. The question that has to be considered is what impact do these smart devices have on supporting the needs of the Enterprise. This presentation looks at how the move to 4G is bringing about better nomadic services and new solutions for the corporation to incorporate in their IT needs.
