President Obama to Announce Round Two Broadband Stimulus Winners

The broadband stimulus funding package made a lot of headlines in late 2009/early 2010, but things have been relatively quiet since late winter. It was also apparent based on the first round of funding, there was a preference for landline-based projects over wireless ones.
However, President Obama is expected to announce the 66 winners in the second funding round of the broadband stimulus program today, according to several industry reports.
