TMNG Global (News - Alert), a provider of management consulting and software solutions to the global communications, technology, and digital media industries, announced the expansion of its cloud practice, with the appointment of Andy Bart and Vern Sheppard as Vice Presidents.

TMNG Global’s cloud practice is engaged in assisting enterprises and communications service clients with the complexities of cloud enablement. The company helps its clients understand how cloud services might fit into their IT strategy. The company caters to the clients considering a move to the cloud, as well as to those seeking to become cloud service providers and helps them work out strategies to utilize both public and private clouds with significant cost and resource advantages. Based on its proprietary cloud focused toolsets, TMNG Global will help clients determine when to move to a cloud environment, how to manage those services, and how to integrate them into their existing enterprise operations. The company is currently expanding its global presence in the cloud computing professional services market and the current appointments are a part of the company’s global expansion process.

In a press release, TMNG announced that the newly appointed VPs will report to Bill Opet, SVP, of the Cable, Broadband and Cloud Business Unit.

Both Andy and Vern are seasoned IT services executives with an impressive track record in the area of cloud computing. Prior to joining TMNG, they served as principals in Executive Operations Management (EOM), a boutique consulting firm in the D.C. metropolitan area. In their previous positions in EOM, they successfully supported enterprise clients and system integrators in their Cloud computing initiatives, TMNG noted in the release.

“While the cloud computing movement is well underway and companies across all sectors are rolling out cloud services at dizzying pace, there is very little guidance available to address the business and operational imperatives facing companies which are contemplating a move to the cloud. We created our cloud practice to help our clients navigate the complexities of cloud enablement and to address the operational planning, technology migration and ongoing operational management required to successfully deliver cloud services. We look forward to both Andy and Vern’s combined cloud computing expertise in driving the expansion of our cloud services portfolio,” Chairman and CEO of TMNG Global, Rich Nespola, explained in a statement.

In early April this year, TMNG Global unveiled its holistic, end-to-end approach to business assurance. TMNG's approach, according tot the company was designed to maximize their clients' revenue, cash flow, profitability, service and customer satisfaction levels, while minimizing and controlling costs.
